New dropbox

Dropboxes are secure exchange spaces where you can exchange documents with your recipients. Dropboxes can be created just for receiving documents.

Creating a dropbox#

Step 1: At the bottom right of the screen, click on the button " », then on Dropbox.

Step 2 : A pop-up appears for creating your new box.

Step 3: Set the parameters for your dropbox, namely:

  • The name of the dropbox
  • The recipient(s)
  • Option: A description of your dropbox
  • Option: The date of closure (= date on which your dropbox will exipre)
  • Option: Download notifications
  • Option: Drop notifications
  • Option: Response partitioning (recipients do not see files dropped by other recipients)

Step 4: If you wish to add files, click on "Yes, I would like to add files", otherwise click on "Later".

Step 5: If you have chosen the first option, add your file then click on "Send.

Supervising a dropbox#

Several actions can be performed for each active dropbox:

Consulting the contents#

Step 1: Select the dropbox on the interface

Step 2: A panel appears on the right of the screen

Step 3: Click on "View" to consult the contents of the box

Modifying the parameters of a dropbox#

Step 1: Select the dropbox on the interface

Step 2: A panel appears on the right of the screen

Step 3 : Modify the following parameters:

  • Box status
  • Download monitoring
  • Drop montoring
  • Expiry date

Supervising a dropbox's recipients#

Step 1: Select the drop box on the interface

Step 2: Click on "Add recipients"

Step 3: Add your recipient's email addresses

You can add internal recipients to your drop box, that is to say users in your company. They will receive an email notification and will be able to consult your dropbox directly from their LockSelf interface.

Deleting a dropbox#

Step 1: Select the dropbox on the interface

Step 2: Click on "Delete"

Step 3: Click on "Confirm"

Note: any deletion is final. Saved files will be deleted.

Shared dropbox#

When you add an internal recipient to your dropbox, that is to say an internal user, they will receive a notification email et and will be able to consult your dropbox directly from their LockSelf interface.

To consult your shared dropboxes:

  • Step 1: Go to "Dropboxes", in the "Shared Spaces" tab

You then have access to the list of all of your active shared dropboxes. Shared dropboxes are spaces created by your collaborators and shared with you.
