Read the following to discover how to create an SSH key.
All users can create SSH keys in their Personal Space or Shared Space(s).
This feature only concerns Private Cloud and On-Premises configurations.

LockPass offers an SSH connector feature: in addition to classic passwords, it is possible to store SSH keys and secret phrases to launch SSH connections directly from your browser.
- Step 1: In your Personal Space or Shared Space, click on then on the "Password" button
- Step 2: Click on "SSH" and choose the storage location for your new password
- In your Personal Space: the password will only be visible to you.
- In one of your Shared Spaces: the password can be viewed by other users who have access to the category in question.
Then click on Validate Location.
- Step 3: Then fill in the information for this SSH key:
- Name: the name of the site or application
- Login: your email address or username

SSH Key: to upload from your PC or to enter manually
- Click on "Use a password" to enter a password instead of an SSH key
- Secret Phrase (optional): check "Key protected by a secret phrase" then enter the secret phrase in the field that appears
- URL or IP / Port: the URL or IP associated with this SSH key, as well as the port.
Advanced Options:
- Tags: create tags that will facilitate your subsequent searches
- Description: add a description/comment to this SSH key
- Optional 1, 2 and 3: 3 fields that can be used in addition to the other fields
Once all elements are filled in, click "Create" to validate the SSH key creation.
