Authentication
Public Cloud
You authenticate to LockSelf via the following URL: api.lockself.com. Enter your email address, your password and then your security key to access your account.
Private Cloud
You authenticate to LockSelf via a custom domain name that your administrator can provide to you.
On-Premises
You authenticate to LockSelf via a custom domain name that your administrator can provide to you.
Basic concepts
Personal space
Your personal space is your own environment: it lets you store your personal logins and passwords through categories and subcategories that you can create.
Shared space
The shared space is a set of categories and subcategories created by your administrators that let you share your credentials with the members of those categories. User permissions in these spaces can be customized to finely manage the actions available.
Organization
The organization is the single environment a user is attached to and through which they can access shared data. The organization is managed by the administrator, who can finely customize permissions and usage preferences within it.
Navigation
Navigating spaces
You navigate personal and shared spaces from the LockPass home page. Move through the different categories, according to your permissions, using the nested categories on your left.
Navigating organizations
You switch between organizations through the menu in the top left of your home page, by clicking your first and last name and email address. Move through the different organizations to administer each one.
