API account

New API account

An API user can be created by an administrator or a moderator of the organization.

  1. In Management, click "+" then "API user".
  2. Enter the First name, Last name and Email of the API user.
  3. Click "Create".

The X-Auth-Token, X-Ls-Token and security key are then generated. Carefully save or directly download all the keys. You receive a .zip file containing the 3 keys.

Additional information

  • API users can be created by the administrators and moderators of an organization.
  • The session duration of an API user is unlimited.

API account rights

Roles in the application

The API user can be managed like a regular user. Its roles can be: Moderator or standard user.

To appoint an API user as a moderator:

  1. In Management, select the relevant API user.
  2. In the user's information panel, click "Make moderator".
  3. The API user then has the rights of a moderator account. More information about rights here.

Access management

API account access is managed in the same way as a standard user. Within a shared category, the API account can be assigned as:

  • Standard user
  • Category manager
