PIN code

To access your LockSelf account, it is necessary to define and fill in a PIN code. Read on to find out everything you need to know about the PIN code.

What is the PIN code?

The PIN code marks the second and final step of authentication for each user. It is defined by each user at the time of account creation.

This code is strictly personal, and must not be disclosed under any circumstances, neither to your collaborators, nor to your LockSelf Administrator.

Why is it important?

This PIN code will allow you to access the data that is encrypted and secured in the safe.

Without this PIN code, you will not be able to access the safe, and thus consult the data it contains.

If you lose your PIN code, you will not be able to regenerate it. The application allows you to make up to 10 attempts to find it before your account is temporarily blocked.

What are the consequences in case of loss?

If you are unable to retrieve your PIN, contact your Administrator.

He will be obliged to delete your account and send you an invitation to create a new account.

Please note: the data stored in your Personal Space will be deleted.

How to change it?

If you want to change your PIN code (to make it more complex, simpler or simply to modify it), it is possible to do it from your LockSelf interface.

To do so, go to the Settings tab and click on "Change my PIN code".
