- Step 1 : Click on « Deposit Box » after clicking on
-
Step 2 : On the window that appears, set up the deposit box parameters elements :
- the deposit box name (visible to the recipients)
- the email addresses of the recipients (you can add as many as you want)
-
Step 3 (optionnal) : You can protect your deposit box with a password, which recipients must enter to gain access. To do this, tick the « See more options » button and enter the telephone number of your recipient(s).
- You cannot set a password; it is set automatically, and sent by sms to your recipient(s).
🚨 Please note: unless your company subscribes to an additional option, you only benefit from 12 sms per year per user. |
- Step 4 (optionnal) : If you wish, you can set additional options by clicking on « See more options ». The options are as follows:
At this stage we could already create our deposit box, but it is possible to set additional options, clicking on « See more options », where we will be able to set the following options :
-
- a description (optional) : to inform the recipients of the deposit box purpose (it will be displayed in the email notification they will receive and on the deposit box itself)
- a closing date (optional) : the drop box will no longer be accessible to recipients after this date
- download receipts (optional) : you will be able to receive an email notification in real time when the recipient(s) will download the documents (the email will contain technical information such as the IP address, the OS of the recipient and the time and date of the download).
- deposit notifications (optional) : you will be able to receive an email notification in real time when the recipient(s) will deposit documents (the email will contain technical information such as the IP address, the OS of the recipient and the time and date of the deposit).
- Compartmentalize the answers (optional): by default, the documents deposited by the recipients are shared with all the recipients of the deposit box. This option allows the documents deposited by a recipient not to be consulted by the other recipients, but only by the deposit box creator
- a description (optional) : to inform the recipients of the deposit box purpose (it will be displayed in the email notification they will receive and on the deposit box itself)
Once all the parameters are set up, click on « Next »
- Step 3 : On the next window, we will be able to deposit files (or not) in the deposit box
🚨 This step is optional because we can use a deposit box only to retrieve files from our recipients. |
-
- If you don't want to upload any files to the deposit box, click « Later » and your deposit box will be automatically created and sent to the recipients.
- If you want to upload files, click on « Yes, I want to add files » and drag and drop or select the files on your computer.

- If you don't want to upload any files to the deposit box, click « Later » and your deposit box will be automatically created and sent to the recipients.
🚨It will be possible to chose a global description to the files you will drop (displayed to the recipients): if you want to apply a specific description to each file, drop them one by one in the deposit box and chose a description for each |
Once you have uploaded your files, click on « Send » : your files will be encrypted and the deposit box created and sent to the recipients.
🚨To see what the recipient(s) will receive, read the article presenting the recipients view when receiving a deposit box. |
