Creating a local password
New standard user
An SSO user does not have a local password and can therefore only sign in via SSO. To allow them to sign in, you must create a local password for them.
- In Management, click the relevant user.
- Click "Local password".
- Click "Add".
- Set an expiration date (optional) and a password.
- Click "Confirm".
The user will then be able to sign in both in standard mode and via SSO.
Edit a local password
To edit a local password:
- Click the relevant user.
- Under "Local password", click "Edit".
- Set an expiration date (optional) and a password.
- Click "Confirm".
Delete a local password
To delete a local password:
- Click the relevant user.
- Under "Local password", click "Edit".
- Click "Delete the local password".
- Click "Confirm".
